Anglicans teach us relevance

Paul Cowley (pictured) heads up the Social Transformation Department at the internationally renowned Holy Trinity Brompton, London, home of the Alpha course.  He urged churches to think ‘Relationship, Relationship, Relationship’ in a comparison with TV’s Location, Location, Location’.  Quoting Salvation Army founder’s ‘soup, soap, salvation’ principle, Paul also emphasised that meeting people’s needs will help people to belong, and that opens a door for them to believe. 

 
Dan Strange, lecturer at Oak Hill Bible College, explained that Biblical principles are relevant in every part of our life, career and society – not just in our interpersonal relationships.  The problems of our communities, he explained, can only be addressed effectively by adopting Biblical The event, held at Brackla Tabernacle, Bridgend South Wales attracted leaders from across the UK.  It was third in a series of events addressing the church’s core values. Two leading Anglicans were the guest speakers at a leaders’ conference on ‘presenting the gospel in a culturally relevant
